Everton reportedly failed to seal a deal for Rodrigo Becão towards the end of the winter market and they are still in the mix to sign the Udinese player in the summer.
The centre-back’s contract expires in 2024 and Udinese chief Pierpaolo Marino admitted last month that his side may not be able to keep the 27-year-old beyond this season.
That’s according to Mondo Udinese, who explain Everton are the ‘most talked about’ club chasing the defender. Sean Dyche’s side are also joined by other unnamed clubs. A fee of €20m will be needed for Udinese to sanction the Brazilian’s sale in the summer.
With Everton and Inter among Becão’s suitors, Udinese have already started searching the market for his successor. They have identified six potential targets to replace the South American, in the event he leaves the Italian club.
