Everton are ‘in the footsteps’ of Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot and ready to offer €25-30m for him this month.
Rabiot joined Juventus in the summer transfer window on a free transfer from Paris Saint Germain but has found playing time hard to come by this season.
He has managed just 12 appearances and 711 minutes of football in total so far, although he started and finished both of Juventus’ last two league games.
A move away from the club has been mooted, and it seems Everton are ready to offer the money to tempt Juve into a sale.
According to Sport Mediaset, they are keen on Rabiot and are ready to put forward a proposal in the region of €25-30m to try and secure his signature.
That would represent ‘an excellent capital gain’ for the Italian giants given they signed him on a free transfer.
It’s stated that such an offer would be ‘carefully evaluated’ by Sporting Director Fabio Paratici, particularly as it could help fund the move for Dejan Kulusevski.
Everton are not the only Premier League side interested, with Arsenal also keen and ready to offer the same price to get the Italian.
