Like clockwork, Everton and Crystal Palace have been linked to Adama Soumaoro this transfer window.
The Premier League pair have been recurring names alongside the Lille defender over the past few years, and following claims by Lille president Gerard Lopez that his captain was expected to leave this summer, we have interested clubs.
At the weekend, La Voix du Nord in France claimed both the Toffees and the Eagles are ‘negotiating’ with Soumaoro’s representative regarding a potential transfer in order for his client to discover the Premier League.
It’s also stated Lazio have approached the player’s entourage, but the 27-year-old’s priority remains a move to England.
Soumaoro has been given an ‘exit pass’ by his club, who won’t stand in his way if certain conditions are met, believed to be somewhere between €12-15m.
It’s hardly a lot of money for Premier League clubs and if they’re already in talks with the agent, there’s clearly something there.
