Currently at Celta Vigo, Stanislav Lobotka has been attracting interest from some pretty big clubs around Europe, including Napoli and Paris Saint-Germain.
Neither have really made a move yet, but Everton, according to Le10 Sport, have.
This report came very early on Friday morning, as the French website claim the Toffees have gone as far as reach out to the player and let him know of their interest in what he has to offer on the pitch.
As for how much the Slovakia international would cost, he’d be in Everton’s range, as Le10 believe the Spanish club would be open to a sale at around €30m.
It’s certainly not a bargain, but Marco Silva’s side have shown in the past they aren’t scared of opening their chequebook for the right player, even if it does lead to some difficult situations, like a certain Davy Klaassen.
While Everton don’t have European football to offer at present, they do have the ability to offer some good wages to players, perhaps more than Napoli (maybe not PSG), so if things do move forward, that, and the fact they play in the Premier League, will most likely be their sales pitch.
