Everton’s Cenk Tosun has spoken to Turkish newspaper Sabah at Everton’s training camp in Austria.

Tosun was asked about Besiktas’ Domagoj Vida following reports in the Turkish press Everton have made two bids for the Croatia defender: “If Everton really want to sign Vida, I think they’ll want information from me.”

Vida impressed for his country at the World Cup, which has again brought him to the attention of Everton. The Premier League side were linked with the player before he joined Besiktas in January, and have been the most linked club this summer, with Sabah mentioning them again today.

Last week it was reported Everton have tabled a bid in the region of €18m, which is said to the most ‘serious proposal’ to be offered for the player.

Everton’s local rivals Liverpool have been linked with the player too.
