According to a claim in the Italian media, Udinese are showing an interest in Liverpool attacker Lazar Markovic.

The Serbian looks to be surplus to requirements at Liverpool and with 12 months left on his contract the Premier League club will want to offload him in this transfer window.

TMW report Udinese have made a survey for Markovic and could look to move in on the player. It’s also claimed the Liverpool player is receiving attention from Spain and it’s seems likely he will leave Anfield this summer.

Last season Markovic was loaned out to Belgian side Anderlecht after spending the first half of the campaign playing for Liverpool’s U23 side.

Since arriving from Benfica the Serbia international has failed to make an impact and is no longer in the plans of Jurgen Klopp.

With the risk of losing him on a free next summer Liverpool are under pressure to sell him outright before the transfer deadline next month.
