Juan Foyth has struggled for minutes since José Mourinho arrived at Tottenham Hotspur in November.
The defender has not made an appearance in this calendar year and with a contract expiring in 2022, he has been linked with a move away from Spurs.
Earlier this month, El Dia explained the 22-year-old’s entourage is evaluating offers from other clubs. It was also suggested Barcelona, Leeds United and a few Serie A clubs could be keen on the player.
Passione Inter managed to get in touch with the Argentina international’s representative Claudio Curti for an update on the player’s situation at the north London club.
He said, “We are currently waiting for the season to be completed. Then we’ll talk to the club [Tottenham] to evaluate the best solution for Juan.”
Foyth can operate as a centre-back and can also feature on the right side of defence. Passione Inter are of the belief the Tottenham player is ‘suitable for Antonio Conte’s needs’ at Inter Milan.
With the website focusing on the Nerazzurri, they had to ask Curti if there has been any approach from the Italian side.
Responding to that, Foyth’s agent explained: “Yes, Inter looked at him before he signed for Tottenham [in 2017]. I know [Piero] Ausilio, if I remember correctly from the time of Walter Samuel [former Inter player].
“Currently Inter are not interested in him. At the same time, if there is any expression of interest in the future, we will listen to it. Juan can play calmly in a club as big as Inter. He has the personality and technical qualities to do it.”
