On October 25th, we carried a report from FcInterNews that Manchester United have Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martínez on a list of striker targets along with Red Bull Salzburg’s Erling Braut Håland.
The Argentina international’s performances for the Serie A side have attracted clubs across Europe and journalist Miguel Rico, writing on the last page of Mundo Deportivo, talks about Barcelona chasing the frontman.
Rico adds the La Liga winners have a competitor for the 22-year-old as Manchester United are also looking at him.
The Catalan newspaper claims the Red Devils are viewed as a ‘suitor’ for Martínez.
If Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side want to buy him in January, they will have to pay €111m to Inter, which is four times what the latter paid to Argentine club Racing Club in 2018.
Martínez has impressed for Inter this season, scoring seven goals and registering two assists in 13 appearances, with six of them coming in the last six appearances.
