On June 24th, multiple claims from Belgium explained Leeds United have Club Brugge star Charles De Ketelaere on their radar.
Later that month, RTL Sport journalist Alexandre Braeckman stated the Whites are still pushing to sign the forward.
Two days ago, Gazzetta dello Sport reported Leeds are joined by AC Milan in the chase for the 21-year-old. The Serie A winners have taken further steps in their attempts to secure his services.
Gianluca Di Marzio explains Milan are ready to get serious for the Belgium international and have made the ‘first offer’ to the Jupiler Pro League champions.
The Rossoneri’s proposal consists of €20m plus bonuses, but this offer has not convinced Club Brugge, who are demanding a ‘much higher’ fee.
Milan will face ‘competition’ from Jesse Marsch’s side.
#mercato https://t.co/vEcOn8KPUM

Meanwhile, Braeckman took to Twitter on Monday evening to explain the Belgium champions are hoping to get €40m for the player. The journalist further adds Milan making moves for De Ketelaere is ‘bad news’ for Leeds United and Leicester City.
Yet if the Rossoneri can’t formulate a much improved offer, the English clubs still look to have a chance.
