With Benfica still working to sign a new goalkeeper, the Portuguese press has daily updates on all the options they have on the table.
The club are in a hurry to replace Ederson before the end of the transfer window, and are working on several fronts. Two of them are Lukas Hradecky from Eintracht Frankfurt and Tim Krul from Newcastle United.
The other one is Jeroen Zoet, and Benfica are still afraid of Premier League competition, reports today’s O Jogo.
They say that Crystal Palace have already made a €6m offer to PSV, but there’s no update on PSV’s response to that bid.
It’s also claimed that there’s another unnamed English club interested in signing the 26-year-old, more competition for Crystal Palace.
Zoet has been at PSV since the youth levels, but is now expected to leave the club after their elimination from the Europa League qualifiers.
Crystal Palace have been linked with a string of goalkeeper and with Zoet being Dutch it’s easy to throw in Frank de Boer interest.
