What seemed like a dream is starting to look like a possible reality for Juventus, as the rumours linking the club to Alvaro Morata are now being taken quite seriously by the Italian press.

Local newspaper Tuttosport has a big story about it, claiming that Chelsea’s transfer plans for the summer could even help the Old Lady in that quest.

With the Blues being linked to PSG’s Edinson Cavani, that would make things easier for the London side to free Morata, who’s pretty keen on returning to Juve.

Things are expected to heat up after Chelsea’s FA Cup final against Manchester United. That’s when Morata will show his desire to return to Italy.

Chelsea would be demanding around €65m for the transfer, and Juve would be confident to get a similar deal as they had when signing Juan Cuadrado.

That means they would try to bring the player on a loan, which would cost between €10m and €15m. After a certain period, an obligatory buying clause of around €40m or €45m would be activated.

Other clubs such as PSG and Bayern Munich would also be interested in the striker, but the newspaper insists that his wish to return to Italy would favour Juve in the race.

We think Tuttosport are being a little optimistic.
