Tottenham Hotspur are today again being linked to FC Porto centre-forward Mehdi Taremi.

It’s journalist Rudy Galetti who, on Twitter, features a little update on the 31-year-old’s situation.

He says Porto haven’t received any official bids for his departure yet, as only verbal approaches and proposals have reached the Dragons.

Regarding the clubs who’ve shown the ‘most interest’ in Taremi, it’s said it’s AC Milan and Tottenham who are most keen on him.

Now even though the Portuguese media has been spending the entire summer claiming €30m would be needed to land the striker from Porto, Galetti claims he could leave for a little less.

It’s claimed that since there’s only one year left on Taremi’s contract with the Dragons, €25m could be enough to sign him.

Despite all the money made with Harry Kane’s departure, Tottenham are still to announce a new signing for his place, as Richarlison has been doing that job.

Taremi was the Portuguese league’s top scorer last season, and despite his importance for Porto, he still looks like an available man in the market.
