Sunday’s edition of Corriere dello Sport has a big feature on Napoli and Everton, and business which could be done between the two clubs this summer.
To set the scene, it’s explained that time is a great healer, and Carlo Ancelotti has fixed his relationship with Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis.
Indeed, it’s even claimed the personal relationship between the pair is ‘excellent’ and could provide the basis for a ‘mega-deal’ in the summer market.
As far as Corriere have it, the pair even spoke in January about Allan moving to Everton, and also ‘art and business’. A deal for the Brazilian was ‘impossible’ at the time, yet is thought to be on the cards for the summer.
Ancelotti ‘continues to like’ Allan, and sees him as a perfect component in an ‘ideal’ midfield. Hirving Lozano gets dragged into the equation as well, and it’s thought the summer ‘mega-deal’ could also see Moise Kean go the other way.
Corriere value the worth of all the players at around €150m, which seems way over the top.
Kean’s lockdown digression may make an Everton exit likelier, but it could also devalue him for Italian suitors, who won’t look on the incident well.
