If you’re already tired of the Sergei Milinkovic-Savic to Manchester United rumours, look away now, as the ensuing paragraphs will do nothing to alleviate that feeling.

We already know a move for the Lazio midfielder in January is out of the question, as his agent, Mateja Kezman, has made that very clear recently, but next summer is a different kettle of fish altogether.

Tuttosport are the latest newspaper with an update, if you want to call it that, claiming three clubs are after the 22-year-old: Manchester United, Barcelona and Juventus.

The article focuses mostly on the interest from the latter of the trio, but whatever applies to the Turin outfit will also be relevant to the Red Devils, so we decided to cover it.

As has been repeated many times now, Lazio highly rate their Serbian star, and they aren’t prepared to let him go for cheap.

The club’s owner, Claudio Lotito, is said to value Milinkovic-Savic at around €100m, although Tuttosport reckon that an offer of €70-80m should do the trick and be convincing enough.

We all know that amount isn’t exactly a hurdle for Manchester United, and if José Mourinho really wants the Serbia international, he’ll be given the money to get his man, and if Ed Woodward can knock off €25m or so off the price, that’ll be even better.

Last week it was reported in Italy that 6’4” ‘SMS’ could be Mourinho’s Fellaini replacement, with the Manchester United manager said to be enchanted by the midfielder.
