With Sadio Mané’s contract at Liverpool expiring in 2023, there have been a few questions about the Senegal international’s future at Anfield.
Much like Mohamed Salah, the forward could be living his final months with the Reds if he doesn’t sign a new contract, as the Reds will not want him to leave on a free next year.
While there have been some mentions of clubs in the past, few have actively come forward, but that could quickly change.
This is according to Florian Plettenburg for Sky Sports in Germany, who reports that Hasan Salihamidžić wants him at Bayern Munich.
🚨Exclusive News Sadio #Mané: #Salihamidzic wants him! He is the desired „statement transfer“ in summer! No negotiations between Bayern & #LFC so far. HS met his agent over the weekend. Mané was a topic. Talks about a contract extension between LFC & Mané difficult. @SkySports 🇸🇳

The director of football is keen to sign the Liverpool star and making him the ‘statement transfer’ this summer in Bavaria.
As things stand, there are ‘no negotiations between Bayern and Liverpool’, but Salihamidžić met Mané’s agent ‘over the weekend’ and the Reds star ‘was a topic’.
Regarding a new deal at Anfield, it’s said ‘talks about a contract extension between Liverpool and Mané are difficult’.
Something to keep an eye on in the coming weeks.
