AFC Eskilstuna sporting director Azad Budak has confirmed to the Swedish media clubs in England have been taking an interest in Omar Eddahri. The attacker has been linked with a move to Fulham in recent weeks.
Speaking to Expressen, Budak was quizzed directly about the interest from Fulham, and also Turkish side Eskisehirspor.
“What I can say is that there is interest from both Turkey and England. As well as a club in the Premier League,” said the AFC director.
Budak will be out of contract at the end of the Swedish season, and he’ll be able to speak to other clubs in the coming days about a pre-contract agreement. The player’s contract with AFC expires at the end of December after three seasons with the club.
Expressen say Fulham have been showing an interest in the Swede as their search for a forward continues. It’s been claimed a scout from the Championship side will watch him play on Saturday when AFC play Malmo. Eddahri can also play in the wide attacking areas.
It’s been reported Fulham could face competition from Swedish clubs to sign the 26-year-old.
Another one to add to the never ending list.
