Eintracht Frankfurt director of football Markus Krösche has potentially opened the door to Arsenal or Liverpool for Omar Marmoush, by insisting no player is not for sale.
Frankfurter Rundschau cover comments from Krösche today after a report earlier today indicated Marmoush is still pushing for his move to the Premier League.
Marmoush has long been linked with a move to England but particularly after impressing for Frankfurt since joining them on a free transfer in July 2023.
He’s managed 24 goals and 11 assists in 49 games since then and naturally earned himself plenty of attention.
The player’s ambition also remain high, though, with a report today making it clear that he still dreams of moving to the Premier League and particularly for either Liverpool or Arsenal.
Liverpool have been credited with an interest in the past and it’s been suggested the forward could be a replacement for Mohamed Salah next summer, should he leave on a free transfer.
Arsenal have also known to be watching him in the past as well, with the player even admitting in 2022 that he watched the Gunners regularly.
Whether either side would be willing to make a move for him is unclear, but Krösche has opened the door somewhat, insisting no player in Frankfurt’s squad can be considered not for sale.
“It is true that Omar made a very clear commitment to us in the summer,” he said.
“He has developed well and still has a lot of potential to develop further. For us, we don’t want to lose so many key players.
“I have to honestly say that no Eintracht player is unsellable (but) we want to keep the team together.
“I talk about him (Marmoush) after every game. But that’s a good thing. Omar gives our game an incredible amount.”
