Fotomac report Besiktas board member Umut Guner has been in London to hold transfer talks with West Ham United forward Javier Hernandez.
Hernandez has been linked with a move to Besiktas after recent claims the Super Lig club tried to sign the Mexican attacker in the last transfer window. It’s also been reported Besiktas remain interested in the West Ham player with a claim this week an offer has been tabled for him.
According to Fotomac, the meeting between Guner and Hernandez was positive and now Besiktas are ready to talk with West Ham officials regarding the 30 year old.
Hernandez has struggled to get games this season for the Hammers and may be looking to move on in the next window.
Besiktas reportedly want to loan the Mexico international for the second half of the season and have offered €1m to get the deal done.
The former Manchester United player has made 10 appearances for West Ham in all competitions this season, scoring 2 goals.
