Liverpool’s Luis Díaz is on the front page of Saturday’s edition of Mundo Deportivo as he’s on Barcelona’s summer target list.

As well as the 28-year-old, AC Milan’s Rafael Leão, Athletic’s Nico Williams and Atalanta’s Ademola Lookman are on the front page.

The one that Barca sporting director Deco ‘likes the most’ among these is the Liverpool player.

Díaz has been a regular under Arne Slot this season, managing 13 goals and five assists from 42 games. The report states the Reds don’t sell their players for cheap, especially starters.

However, the former FC Porto man wants to take the next step and is prioritising a move to the Camp Nou.

In another report, Mundo provides additional updates on the Colombia international’s firm desire to join Barcelona. They have found out from sources close to the attacker that he is willing to wait ‘as long as it takes’ to fulfil his dream of playing for the Catalan club.

If Hansi Flick’s side were to make an approach for him, Díaz ‘would not hesitate to force’ a move away from Anfield. The newspaper explains Slot wants to retain Díaz as Mohamed Salah is expected to leave the Reds.

The South American’s contract expires in 2027, and his price tag could be key for Barca, if they were to sign him.
