Fanatik claim Besiktas sporting director Ali Naibi will fly to England this week to try and complete a deal for Southampton midfielder Mario Lemina.
Yesterday we covered reports from Turkey that the Gabonese midfielder is a target for the Turkish side, and they are now looking to close a deal for the player.
It’s reported Southampton have accepted a loan offer from Besiktas, but the Super Lig club still need to convince Lemina that a move to Istanbul would be best for him.
Due to his issues with the Saints manager Ralph Hassenhüttl, Lemina hasn’t played for the Saints so far this season and an exit seems inevitable at this stage.
The Black Eagles now have just a few days to get a deal completed before the Turkish transfer window.
The former Juventus midfielder still has three years left on his current contract at St. Mary’s.
