‘Different scenario’ for Liverpool transfer, Klopp favourite tempted by ambitious project

 

Juventus are  serious thoughts about bringing Liverpool midfielder Emre Can to the club, according to Tuttosport.

The Turin based newspaper claims the Italian side think the player would be a perfect fit for their team, as he’s a very complete midfielder who can allow the manager to pick various formations.

The problem is that Jurgen Klopp is working hard for Can to renew his contract with Liverpool. With the German international’s contract expiring next year, the pressure to renew continues to grow.

Tuttosport claims that in England it’s believed Can will renew, but German sources see a ‘different scenario’. Can would be tempted by the ambitious project that Juventus have, and be having second thoughts about his future.

Liverpool are reportedly demanding €35m for the 23-year-old. Juventus will try to get a discount, but the outlet makes it sound like the Italian club will go in hard to get the player, regardless of the price.
