Keita Baldé’s relationship with Lazio has been gone from bad to worse, with the beef between player and club getting public in the past few days, and that could help West Ham.
That’s why the 22-year-old is close to the exit door, even though as explained by Tuttosport on Thursday, the options for his exit from the club aren’t so clear.
West Ham would be one of the possibilities, with recent reports saying the London club made an offer of €32m. And although some Italian outlets claimed the bid was accepted by Lazio, Tuttosport are not so confident it’s happening.
They say that even if the offer is true, it won’t be accepted by Keita. He wants to remain in Italy, where there’s still a market for him.
Inter, Juventus, Milan and Roma would all be interested, but none of them are ready to take him. The Old Lady, for example, wouldn’t mind waiting for a year and then getting him for free, when his contract expires.
Keita, however, wouldn’t like to spend a year with a bad relationship with his club. Maybe this lack of decision from Lazio’s rivals could become a chance for West Ham to convince the starlet.
The offer is already good, because the Italian side are said to be demanding only €25m.
