Fotomac have reported on the latest developments regarding Trabzonspor’s pursuit of Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko.
The Turkish newspaper claim Trabzonspor have offered €3m to Tottenham for a one year loan, but the Premier League club initially wanted €6m.
Tottenham are now looking for a fee of around €4m, but Trabzonspor are confident a deal can be reached from their first offer. Fotomac say both sides want the transfer, so it’s very close to being completed.
It’s also claimed Trabzonspor president Muharrem Usta met with Sissoko in England to discuss a move to Turkey.
During that meeting Usta informed Sissoko about Trabzonspor’s plans for the future, including investment in the squad. After this meeting talks with Tottenham commenced.
Tottenham would have preferred a permanent deal for Sissoko, but Fotomac say due to a lack of offers and Sissoko’s desire to join Trabzonspor, the English club have changed their stance and are now considering a loan.
Sissoko is said to be ‘raising the pressure’ to get his Tottenham exit sorted, and Fotomac believe a ‘Happy ending is coming soon’.
