Fotospor claim Fenerbahce are keeping their options open in case Martin Skrtel decides to leave the club, following reports Newcastle United want to sign him.
Newcastle will be expected to strengthen their squad this summer and the former Liverpool man looks to be an option.
It’s reported the Slovakian centre back has yet to commit his future to the Yellow Canaries and Fenerbahce have identified Arsenal’s Laurent Koscielny as a possible target.
Skrtel is said to be in talks with Newcastle, along with Serie A side Parma over a potential summer move and Fenerbahce could look to replace him with the Arsenal man.
Koscielny has yet to extend his contract with Arsenal and speculation has grown in France over a possible exit from the club.
According to Fotospor, Fenerbahce will face competition from Bayer Leverkusen, Rennes and AC Milan for the Frenchman.
Koscielny’s contract with Arsenal will expire at the end of June 2020.
