Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Ki-jana Hoever has been out on loan AJ Auxerre since the end of last summer window.
The right-back has featured regularly for the Ligue 1 club, playing 2,139 minutes from 30 games this season.
Saturday’s edition of L’Yonne Républicaine, a newspaper local to the French club, looks at the 23-year-old’s situation at Auxerre.
They haven’t secured a purchase option, meaning Ki-jana Hoever has to return to Wolves in the summer.
Auxerre are currently 10th in the table and face Paris Saint-Germain later today in their last match of this season. The Wolves owned player will travel to Parc des Princes but won’t be in the squad.
The newspaper states the defender has already played his last match for Auxerre and is set to return to Wolves.
Prior to joining the Ligue 1 side, he extended his contract at Molineux until 2026. Both Vítor Pereira and Wolves have to make a decision the Dutchman’s future in the summer window.
Ki-jana Hoever joined the Premier League club in 2020 and has been on loan at PSV Eindhoven, Stoke City and Auxerre since 2022.
