Far from being in an enviable position, the Toffees, despite all their recruiting in the summer, could be in need of a few more bodies to help turn the tide completely, and this is where Domagoj Vida comes in.
The 28-year-old defender, currently under contract at Dynamo Kiev in Ukraine, will be out of contract on December 31st, meaning he’s free to talk to clubs about a potential transfer in January.
The defender has been given 10 days to think about the proposals put in front of him, meaning an answer should be made public by the end of the month.
With Milan better placed in Serie A than Everton are in the Premier League, the Italian side perhaps have the advantage on paper, but we all know how much money the Toffees are capable of throwing around when they really want a player.
