Things happen quickly at this stage of the transfer window, and it seems that Andrea Ranocchia will be a Hull City player after all.
Just over two weeks ago, the 28-year-old defender was said to have turned down the opportunity to play under Marco Silva at the KCOM Stadium, yet Sky Italia are reporting late on Monday the player is on the verge of joining the Tigers on loan.

Ranocchia, who was once Inter Milan’s captain, has been pushed to one side at the San Siro over the past couple of seasons, and, despite still loving the club, it seems he’s finally decided to make a decision with his head rather than his heart.
The centre-back, who has only made nine appearances for the Serie A outfit this season, is expected to undergo his medical on Tuesday.
With the news that Curtis Davies is set to miss the next eight weeks of football with a hamstring injury, Ranocchia could be thrown into the mix far sooner than expected, which might be why he finally agreed to make the move.
