Player has ‘packed his bags’, on way to sign for Crystal Palace, deal agreed today

 

Serbia’s Gazeta are reporting that Luka Milivojević has ‘packed his bags’ and in on his way to England to sign for Crystal Palace.

Currently with Olympiakos, the Serbia international is very highly rated, and has been linked with several other Premier League clubs during the January transfer window alone.

Gazeta say Milivojević has already said goodbye to his Olympiakos teammates and would be on his way to Crystal Palace and a new life in London.

No exact fee is mentioned, but it’s pointed out that Olympiakos wanted more than €15m for the midfielder, so the assumption is Crystal Palace will be paying somewhere near that amount.

The deal was agreed on Monday afternoon, and all sides are now happy with the transfer. Milivojević now just has to get to London and pass his Crystal Palace medical.

Leicester City were strongly linked with a move for the player earlier on in the window but were unable to agree a deal.
