If there’s one position Liverpool don’t need numbers, it’s goalkeeper. Whilst there may be some argument that Jurgen Klopp doesn’t have a truly world class option to pick from, he’s certainly got quality in depth at Anfield.
Simon Mignolet fought to get the starting position back from Loris Karius, and Danny Ward has returned from a very successful loan at Huddersfield Town.
That means Kamil Grabara is unlikely to get a look in, and needs to leave the club on loan. The 18 year old has big plans for the future and recently spending some time with Oldham Athletic, he’s up for a move to League One.
Wojciech Szczęsny went on a similar loan early in his Arsenal career, and Grabara hopes that Oldham Athletic can do for him what Brentford did for his compatriot.
Poland’s Katowicki Sport reports that ‘in the coming days’ Grabara should find out whether Oldham Athletic have decided to take him on loan, with the League One side also looking at other options.
