Takvim claim Crystal Palace travelled to Istanbul last weekend to watch Fenerbahce midfielder Ozan Tufan, but they weren’t happy with his performance against Galatasaray.
Its reported Palace officials were left disappointed with Tufan’s display after he failed to impress the Premier League side’s scouts with his passing and defensive contribution.
In the past few weeks it’s been reported in the Turkish media that the Eagles are interested in signing the 24 year old, along with Southampton and Everton.
The London side have also been linked with the Turkey international in the past after reports in 2018 he was close to arriving at Selhurst Park.
Tufan recently signed a new deal to commit himself to Fenerbahce until June 2024, but there’s still a chance he could leave the Super Lig club this summer if any club are prepared to pay his €20m buyout clause.
Fenerbahce could be forced to sell him, given their poor financial situation, even though he’s been a key player for them this season.
