Roy Hodgson was appointed as Crystal Palace manager last Septemeber and since he took charge at Selhurst Park, Jason Puncheon has seen his first team appearances being limited.
The former Queens Park Rangers loanee made 10 appearances in the Premier League last season and has not played even a single minute in the league in this calendar year.
His contract with his current employer runs down after the end of this campaign and he has so for not made a decision on his future, according to Italian website Calciomercato.
They claim the 32-year-old is on the ‘crossroads’ and is yet to make a decision on his future as the Eagles have already offered him a new deal.
It is now down to the player whether to accept or reject the English club’s proposal and should he select the latter, he will leave Palace as a free agent next summer or Hodgson’s side could offload him in January.
Calciomercato’s report does not mention any source in their report nor they claim it is their original story, which is why we would wait and see if there are more reports on Puncheon, either in England or from elsewhere regarding his future.
