Galatasaray have been linked with a number of central midfielders in the past week after signing Jean Michael Seri from Fulham on a season long loan deal.
The Turkish giants are looking to add at least one more midfielder to their squad before the end of the transfer window and they’ve been showing an interest in Tottenham Hotspur’s Victor Wanyama, Everton’s Morgan Schneiderlin and Manchester United’s Fred.
Today Ajansspor report Crystal Palace midfielder Cheickou Kouyate has now been offered to Gala, via agents.
It’s reported the Super Lig side are following the player’s situation closely and they could make an offer for the 29 year old.
The Crystal Palace player can also operate as a centre back, which would provide Galatasaray manager Fatih Terim with cover for his current central defenders.
With Cim Bom competing in next season’s Champions League group stages, Terim is keen to strengthen his squad before the transfer deadline.
Kouyate joined Crystal Palace last summer and made 31 appearances for the Eagles. He is under contract at Selhurst Park until June 2022.
