Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos has ‘attracted interest’ from Crystal Palace, but they face competition from Inter Milan for his signature.
That’s according to Sport, who say the Italian side are ‘another girlfriend’ for Ceballos ahead of the summer transfer window.
Ceballos’s future is ‘up in the air’ as he has only managed 81 minutes of action since the start of the season.
It means he is unlikely to remain at the Bernabeu as it is clear there is no place for him at Real Madrid, particularly under Carlo Ancelotti.
Luckily for them, there are several teams who are keen, and Inter Milan have ‘joined the list’ of suitors who are ‘interested’ in signing him.
The Spanish giants ‘will not hesitate’ to ‘open the door’ for him if an offer of more than €30m were to arrive, and it is unlikely Ancelotti would be interested in stopping a departure.
Whether any of the interested parties would pay such a price isn’t mentioned, although it was stated last month that an offer of €18m plus would be ‘irresistible’.
Crystal Palace were named as one of the interested parties on that occasion, but €12m is a considerable difference, so it seems that price will have to be worked out before they potentially move more firmly.
