Eintracht Frankfurt’s Tamiou Kpebane has emerged as a transfer target for Crystal Palace for the summer window.
That’s at least what Fussball Transfers are reporting, and they mention Crystal Palace when covering Hamburger SV’s interest in the 18-year-old.
They state Hamburger SV have the ‘talented player’ on their radar and are eyeing a move for him.
As well as the second division German club, the right-back is also being chased by clubs in the Premier League. Crystal Palace are the only English club to be named in the report.
Fussball Transfers state the Eagles have made contact to try and sign the defender in the next window.
Kpebane prefers to operate as a right-back but can be used on the left side and also as a centre-back.
He’s a product of the Bundesliga club’s academy and is currently part of Eintracht Frankfurt U19s. The versatile defender is yet to make his debut for the senior team.
Kpebane has just over two months left on his contract and due to a lack of prospects of making it to the first team, it’s highly unlikely for him to sign an extension.
This is certainly encouragement for Crystal Palace and others to sign the youngster on a free transfer.
