As Antonio Conte’s future with Tottenham Hotspur remains unclear, there are already some clubs getting interested in signing the manager.

The coach’s name is today mentioned by Roma Giallorossa, who features a story about José Mourinho.

The Portuguese boss is being wanted by his country’s national team, and is set to give them an answer after Christmas.

As Roma watch everything unfold from afar, they are already looking for replacements, and Conte’s situation at Tottenham makes him a target.

The outlet writes that the Italian coach is in ‘pole position’ to replace Mourinho at the Giallorossi.

It’s said there have been no contacts yet, but he’s the favourite for the job, in case it actually becomes vacant.

Pointing out that Conte’s contract with Tottenham expires at the end of the season, the website claims his future should be clearer ‘around March’.

So ‘in these months’, Roma’s chiefs, with Franco Maldini named, could work to attract him to the Serie A side.

The Tottenham boss had already been linked to Juventus in the past few months, as the respect for his work in his home country continues to be huge.
