Former Beyaz TV journalist Mustafa Cevik has reported on new developments surrounding Fulham’s Aboubakar Kamara, following claims he’s not been training at Yeni Malatyaspor due to injury.
The player has missed four of last five games due to his injury, with reports yesterday that he’s also based himself in Istanbul rather than Malatya due to personal reasons.
However, according to Cevik, Yeni Malatyaspor manager Erol Bulut hasn’t given permission for the French attacker to skip training, saying the reports are false.
The 24-year old has only played 57 minutes of Super Lig football with his new club since he arrived in January and the Fulham player has been a huge disappointment for the Turkish side.
After controversies at Fulham, the Premier League club decided to loan him out in January, and it seems the loan move to Malatyaspor is continuing in the same way.
At the start of the week we covered reports from Turkey that it’s unlikely the Super Lig side will keep the attacker beyond this season.
Kamara is under contract at Craven Cottage until June 2021.
