Earlier on Monday, we covered the latest in the big Italian newspapers regarding the future of Romelu Lukaku and Chelsea.

The gist of it was the Belgian wants to return to Inter at all costs this summer if he can, with one of the newspapers going as far as saying he wanted a guarantee he would never have to go back to Stamford Bridge.

In order to do that, he would need to secure a couple of successive loans to Italy from Chelsea before the Italians make the move permanent, and a lot of negotiations would have to take place to get that over the line.

That’s why more talks are expected to take place, and Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin took to Twitter to give the latest on when those will take place.

He wrote ‘Confirmed: the lawyer representing Lukaku will be in Milan tomorrow to meet the management of Inter’.

Whether this leads to anything remains to be seen, but it’s clear the Belgium International wants out of Chelsea this summer if he can, and those around him are taking the necessary steps to try and make that happen.
