Bayern Munich are ‘very confident’ of signing Kyle Walker from Manchester City this summer, with a ‘super contract’ thought to be tempting him into the move.

That’s according to BILD, who say that the German champions believe they may have convinced the England defender into the move to Germany.

They report that after Walker ‘signalled interest’ in the transfer, Bayern are ‘waiting daily’ for his final word on the matter so they can go to Manchester City and negotiate a transfer fee.

Walker is yet to commit 100% to the move but Bayern are tempting him with a ‘super contract’ for two years with the option of a third.

That’s seen as a real show of faith from the German giants given it’s a rule at the club that players over 30 only get one-year contracts.

Walker, though, is considered the ‘absolute dream player’ for coach Thomas Tuchel, who values his defensive abilities above all else.

Thus, he is very keen for the club to get a deal over the line, but Walker is yet to fully decide whether he wants to stay at Manchester City or move on.

Bayern’s offer appears to be a tempting one for him and they are ready to move, and open discussions should he give them the go ahead to do so.
