OFK forward Saman Ghoddos has confirmed to the Swedish media a number of clubs are interested in signing him.
The Iranian international has been linked with a move to Queens Park Rangers in recent months, and Expressen say there have been ‘concrete bids from England’, as well as Spain and Germany.
Speaking to Sydsvenskan, Ghoddos was asked about his future with OFK: “Yes, there are currently, maybe ten clubs. It’s more than interest.”
Ghoddos was linked with a move to QPR in the last window after the Championship side tabled a bid for the player, which was rejected by the Swedish side.
At the time, the OFK hierarchy said if the right bid came in for the forward they would have considered selling him, but QPR didn’t come back in with an improved offer.
If QPR are to revive their interest in Ghoddos in January then it’s likely they’ll face competition to sign him, and will need to work to convince the player to come to Loftus Road.
However, it’s possible the player will only leave OFK next summer after the Swedish club unexpectedly reached the Europa League knock out stages.
