It seems that Arsenal are about to lose the race for Hungarian starlet Dominik Szoboszlai.

Just a few weeks ago, we covered reports which said the Gunners were in ‘well advanced’ negotiations for the midfielder, just as the likes of Milan and Paris Saint Germain.

But now it looks like the Rossoneri are close to securing his signing, according to a report from Pianeta Milan today.

They claim that the 19-year-old is ‘very close’ on joining the Serie A giants, as the club are ready to trigger his release clause at RB Leipzig, which is of €24m.

Pianeta Milan talks a little about the competition as well. They claim that the Rossoneri had to battle their local rivals Juventus, Lazio and Napoli, just like foreign sides such as Arsenal and PSG.

It’s said Dominik Szoboszlai has already given green light to the move following a chat with Ralf Rangnick, who is set to take over from Stefano Pioli, so it looks like he’s only got one destination in mind at this point.
