On Monday, we covered claims in Italy that AS Roma had started taking an interest in Norwich City’s Max Aarons.
The England U21 international would be an alternative to Diogo Dalot, whom the Serie A club have been chasing for quite some time, and an offer had allegedly been made.
Norwich, down their end, had swiftly refused the approach, which was a loan with a view to buy, and Corriere dello Sport back that up on Tuesday.
They relay the same information as Calciomercato.it, explaining that the Canaries value their starlet at €22m, with Everton and Tottenham also supposedly after him.
That being said, it’s made clear that Roma’s interest is ‘concrete’, suggesting they definitely are in the race to sign the right-back.
Whether they manage it remains to be seen, since there’s really tough competition for him, and we all know that when it comes to money, Premier League sides are always going to win.
There’s also the issue of convincing Norwich, too.
