Anthony Martial has started in three Premier League games for Manchester United in October and scored four goals, which includes a brace in his side’s 2-2 draw against Chelsea.
The forward’s current deal expires in 2019 and the Red Devils have an option to further extend it by one more year.
Italian website Tutto Mercato Web claims the forward’s contract situation, coupled with his form this month, has seen him attract interest from top Serie A clubs.
It’s claimed that Juventus, Inter Milan and AC Milan have long been following the former AS Monaco man and the suitors are ‘serious’.
The report claims that due to two reasons – Martial’s form and contract – there could be an auction for the Frenchman, while there is a ‘conviction’ at Old Trafford that Manchester United will still be able to keep hold of their star player, just as other clubs are trying to persuade him to join a new project.
Sky Sports in England reported the attacker has turned down a proposal, but the 20-time English champions remain hopeful.
