On May 9th, Sky Deutschland journalist Florian Plettenburg reported Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan Salihamidžić wants Liverpool star Sadio Mané.
On Friday, Plettenburg further explained the Bundesliga winners have started ‘first talks’ to sign the 30-year-old in the summer.
Claims made by Sky about the Bavarian club wanting the player are backed up by Bild today. Their title reads ‘interest in Liverpool star getting hot’.
If the Pole were to leave the club, then Julian Nagelsmann’s side will invest the money from his sale in signing the former Southampton man. That is why it is ‘getting hotter and hotter’ with the Senegal international.
The player is managed by ROOF and Salihamidžić already met their representative, Björn Bezemer, in Mallorca last week.
Bild go on to suggest the renewal talks with Mané may falter since Liverpool could focus on keeping Mohamed Salah at Anfield. If that were to happen, it could give Bayern an advantage to sign Mané.
