Galatasaray are reportedly engaged in a pursuit for two Chelsea players.

Turkish outlet Fanatik today reveals that club chairman Erden Timur made a trip to London in the chase for the potential new signings.

One of the targets is said to be Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech. As widely reported, his tranfer to Al Nassr was cancelled due to his medical issues.

Galatasaray are said to be interested in him, and to protect themselves from his potential injury problems, they want him on a loan with an option to buy after studying his fitness carefully.

The other Chelsea player the Turkish side are going after is Pierre-Emerick Aumabeyang, but that would depend if he’s available on a free or not.

The striker doesn’t seem to be on the Blues’ plans for the season, and that’s why there’s hope from the Istanbul club to land him with no costs.

Fanatik explains that if Chelsea ‘authorise the transfer’, then Galatarasay will be offering him a one-year contract, with an option for an extra one, which would automatically be triggered if he reaches a certain number of appearances.

In both cases, it seems the Turkish club are worried about how the players would do in their first year there, and are being extra cautious in their approach.
