Fulham failed in a move for AC Milan’s Samuel Chukwueze in the winter transfer window and there is now a possibility of a summer transfer.

After the transfer didn’t materialise, the Nigerian scored crucial goals for Milan against Parma and Lazio. Despite that, his future remains uncertain and Calciomercato’s Daniele Longo has provided an update.

The journalist’s report claims that in the winter, Chukwueze’s transfer to Fulham did not go through because the two clubs couldn’t agree on the formula for the move and time ran out.

While that is different to what has been reported by other outlets in the past, things are very much alive for Marco Silva’s side. Milan’s intentions in the summer are to ‘reconnect’ with Fulham about a transfer, with Chukwueze set for a departure.

He is valued at between €12m and €15m right now and there is also the possibility of a move back to Spain, where Real Betis and Sevilla are interested.

It remains to be seen if Fulham have the upper-hand in the situation or not but they are still thought to be firmly in the chase.
