Since Dennis Praet returned to Leicester City from his loan spell at Torino, his name continued to be frequently mentioned in the Turin press, as the Serie A side were always interested in keeping him in their squad.
Now with few days until the end of the transfer window, the situation remains the same, with newspaper Tuttosport bringing a few details about this saga today.
The outlet writes that Torino are now set to offer their ‘last resources’ to get the signing done, offering Leicester City a loan with the obligation to buy him for between €8m and €10m.
Despite pointing out this is a strong investment for Torino, Tuttosport reckons it’s ‘appropriate’ because Praet has been proving himself in Italian football over the past couple of years.
Torino are said to be in ‘frantic contact’ with Leicester City to get a deal done, not only to negotiate potential performance bonuses, but also to check if any competitors for the player show up.
Praet continues to be the Italian club’s priority for the end of the summer window, and it seems it’d be a big frustration if they don’t agree a deal with the Foxes.
