Ever since Nikola Vlasic arrived at Torino on loan from West Ham United, there have been articles about the Serie A side wanting to make the move permanent.
They have an easy way of doing that, since they and the Hammers agreed to a €15m option to buy being inserted in the deal.
However, as tends to be the case when these types of transfers are done, the Italians are never happy to simply pay the pre-agreed amount, and always try and get a discount.
We’ve covered this idea from Torino in the past, but it’s come back on Wednesday, as a very brief report on Calciomercato stated the Italian club ‘want to quickly close a new agreement’ with West Ham regarding the Croatian.
The article is literally a sentence long, and we normally wouldn’t cover it, but another article posted on Goalist has the same information, and they attribute the information to Sport Mediaset.
That one states the club are trying to ‘speed up the negotiation’ and want to ask ‘for a small discount’ on the deal.
Therefore, we can expect new talks between West Ham and Torino in the future, and perhaps a deal can be struck, leaving Vlasic in Turin and the Hammers with a bit more money in their pocket.
