Earlier today, we relayed quick news from France regarding the potential exit of Maxime Le Marchand and Jean-Michael Seri from Fulham.
Eurosport journalist Manu Lonjon was the one with the information on Twitter, claiming OGC Nice in France were in talks to bring back the pair from London just under three years after selling them to the Cottagers for a fee exceeding £30m.
We weren’t sure what the details were since the information given by Lonjon was scarce, but in a video on the outlet’s website, he revealed a bit more.
He explained the idea would be to bring both Seri and Le Marchand back for ‘practically nothing’, which has been met with some reluctance from Fulham considering the amount they originally paid for their services.
It’s said there are ‘some difficulties’ in the negotiation process, but it’s part of their January plans, and it appears the pair, should this go through, would be leaving the Premier League club for good rather than on a temporary basis.
