On Sunday, Italian newspaper Corriere Dello Sport said Monday could be a decisive day for the Alexis Sanchez saga. And they’re not escaping from their own claims today, as they bring a new story saying ‘the last ok’ could now be given by Manchester United.
The outlet claims there’s only one detail left to be agreed, which is the player’s salary. His agent Fernando Felicevich is the one in charge of the negotiations, and is set to meet the Red Devils to close a deal.
Corriere Dello Sport claims that Alexis Sanchez is ready to move to Inter Milan, as he’s already looked for houses in Italy and now waits for the green light so he can depart from Manchester.
It’s said that Manchester United had no hurry to close a deal, but now in the last week of the transfer window, the club are focused on sorting it out.
This delay from Manchester United was actually good for Inter Milan. Because since they will only pay for Sanchez’s wages, or part of the salary, they’ve now avoided two months of it.
Once the clubs agree the amount paid by Inter, which Corriere reckons will be around €5.5m from the €12.5m he will make until the end of the season, then Sanchez is ready to move. It’s still not known if the Italian side will pay a small loan fee, and then there’s the buying option of €15m.
