According to Sdna.Gr, Olympiacos are waiting for an answer from Leicester City forward Islam Slimani with regards to a possible transfer in this window.
The Greek giants haven’t won the league for the past two seasons and want to rebuild the team as they look to win the Greek Super League in the next campaign.
The forward line has become a priority for Olympiacos after the club recently extended the contract of their captain Kostas Fortounis. They want to follow this up by possibly bringing in Leicester’s Slimani.
Sdna say along with Slimani, Fernando Llorente and Youssef El Arabi are two other forwards who have been contacted with, and they are waiting for answers in the coming week from all three players.
After a terrible loan spell at Fenerbahce where he scored just one goal, the Algerian striker is unlikely to stay at Leicester City and another loan move could be on the cards.
Olympiacos have also been linked with moves for Southampton’s Guido Carrillo and former Panathinaikos striker Marcus Berg.
